NASA on flickr

The very first weblinks post on this site was about NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day website.  Another place on the web to find some great NASA pictures is their flickr photostream.

I'm a big fan of flickr.com, and have a heap of my own photos posted on the photo sharing site. NASA's photos are always top quality, hi resolution and have a detailed explanation.  (Such as the below pic)

Blog - Mama Mia Freedman

The last few weblinks posts have been a bit blokey, football, motor racing, etc.
So lets hear from an Aussie chick!  Mia Freedman is an Australian journalist, blogger, author and mother,
she blogs about many current affairs and women's issues.  Her blog posts are always very well written, interesting and often funny - even for this bloke!

While the title photo of Mia's recent article on breast feeding in public will catch the eye of male readers, the article is enthralling and makes a lot of good sense.

Bathurst - V8 Supercars

If you're a motor sports fan, this weekend is the biggest on the Australian motor racing calender - yes, even bigger than the F1 Grand Prix.  It's the Bathurst 1000 for the V8 Supercars.  All the action can be seen on the Seven Network, and online at www.v8supercars.com.au where you can see live streaming video, live lap times, photos, and just about anything else to do with the series - even the grid girls!
